Dr. Junjie Peng is a professor with the School of Computer Science at Shanghai University where he leads the Lab of Intelligent Technology and Systems (LITS) . He was supported by the dawn plan of Shanghai Association for Science & Technology and a research fellow of Zuse Institute Berlin, Germany. 

Prof. Peng's research interests cover natural language processing, computer vision, multi-modal data mining and analysis, intelligent technology and systems etc. He has authored a book, more than 180 referred papers appeared in international Journals and conference proceedings, more than fifty patents including three PCTs and three US patents. 

Prof. Peng is a Member of the National Academy of Artificial Intelligence (NAAI), a Distinguished Member of China Computer Federation (CCF), Executive Committee Member of CCF professional committee of intelligent Robot, Senior member of Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE), Senior member of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), member of the Council of Shanghai Computer Society (SCS), Deputy director of  SCS professional committee of Natural Language Processing, member of the Council of the Shanghai Institute of Engineers (SHIE). He was the President of CCF YOCSEF Shanghai (2015-2016).
