Junjie Peng is an associate professor with the School of Computer Science at Shanghai University where he leads the Lab of Intelligent Technology and Systems (LITS). Prior to that he was a research fellow with Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB), Germany. Before the ZIB Fellowship, he was a senior researcher with Alcatel Shanghai Bell Co. Ltd. (ASB) at Shanghai. Prior to ASB he was a RA and PhD Candidate at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology China, where he earned all of his degrees from bachelor to doctorate.
Dr. Peng's research interests cover storage and energy saving in cloud computing, Data analysis and visualization, embedded system, wireless sensor network and computer system architecture etc. He is an author of more than 70 refereed papers appeared in international Journals and conference proceedings, an owner of twelve patents and three software copyrights, an contributor of four submissions to OMA and 3GPP2.
Currently Dr. Peng is a Senior member of Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE), senior member of China Computer Federation (CCF), member of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Member of China Cloud Computing Expert Advisory Committee, Member of Bigdata Expert Committee of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Expert of the Shanghai Federation of IoT Industry and Commerce, Expert of Technical Services Committee in Shanghai Computer Industry Association, Vice director of Shanghai Computer Society Youth Working Committee (SCS-YWC), Reveiw expert of NSFC, Young Associate Editor of Frontiers of Computer Science (FCS), a Program Committee member, Session Chair and Registration Chair for more than a dozen of international conferences. Dr. Peng was an Expert of Cloud Computing Research Lab, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion Center (2012-2014), President of CCF YOCSEF Shanghai (2015-2016), a referee for more than 40 famous international journals and conferences.
